How to Give an iOS App as a Gift
Looking for last minute holiday presents for the iOS users on your list? How about giving an app? It’s fairly simple to do and the gift gets delivered to the recipient’s email address. (As CNET points out, Apple had previously offered app gifting in iOS 5, it was removed when iOS 6 launched, but now it’s back.)
It’s simple. Start by finding the app in the App Store or in iTunes. Click on the share icon, then choose the gift icon.
