How stem-cell research could save Hollywood

According to today’s New York Observer, Hollywood has a surplus of managers competing for the same natural resource (the resource in question being decent material). And, at the same time, supposedly there aren’t enough bankable starlets for all the movies that want to cast them. So, if we can isolate the DNA coding for ‘pushy literary manager’ and ‘gorgeous and talented actress,’ and just switch them around, we’ll be all set.

(While we’re at it, I guess we should figure out the DNA coding for ‘will pay $12 to see some crappy comic book adaptation instead of waiting for the DVD’ and save the exhibition industry.)
