HOH's "Recess" Finds Way to Bring Us Tiger
We love it when a Capitol Hill publication sounds more like Us Weekly than some of the dry reporting that can come out of politics.
Today Roll Call’s HOH gives us a One-Minute Recess that finds a way to connect the Tiger Woods sex scandal to prayers for President Obama. The group wants to prevent Obama from following in Tiger’s salacious footsteps. Wow, a stretch, it is. But a great one.
“Prayer at the Pump” Movement Founder Rocky Twyman and his prayer buddies will meet in Baltimore later this week to say prayers for Tiger in the heat of his sex scandal and for President Obama — who hasn’t cheated on his wife (God forbid) but who just might if he doesn’t “keep the faith.”
