Hitwise: 24 Bumps Chuck from Top Three

According to Hitwise, ABC remained the top-ranked broadcast-network Website for the week ending Jan. 23, with CBS coming in second again.

Fox’s American Idol and ABC’s The Bachelor continued to hold the top two spots on the broadcast-network-show list, but Fox’s 24 displaced NBC’s Chuck to claim the No. 3 position.

Cable shows (adults only) were unchanged from the week of Jan. 16: Comedy Central’s South Park, MTV’s Jersey Shore and Oxygen’s Bad Girls Club were the top three.

When combining broadcast and cable networks, Idol fell from first to third, trailing No. 1 Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and No. 2 South Park.

Fast risers on the broadcast list were Fox’s Human Target (to No. 5 from No. 50), The CW’s Life UneXpected (13 from 23) and One Tree Hill (20 from 37) and ABC’s Private Practice (22 from 33).

Cable’s fast risers were USA Network’s White Collar (11 from 34) and Burn Notice (15 from 59) and SyFy’s Caprica (22 from 43).

Fast risers among the top 25 Websites were 24 (9 from 23), Human Target (14 from 136), MSNBC’s Countdown with Keith Olbermann (17 from 29), Cartoon Network’s Star Wars: The Clone Wars (19 from 31), Nick’s iCarly (22 from 32) and White Collar (24 from 71).
