Twitter's Connect tab offers personalized account recommendations based on your activity

Have you ever wanted to find new users to follow on Twitter, but you didn’t know where to start? If so, you may want to check out the application’s Connect tab, which offers personalized account recommendations based on your Twitter activity. Our guide will show you how to get there.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Twitter app on iOS.

Step 1: Tap the “Home” button in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the “Connect” icon in the top-left corner of the screen.

Step 3: Browse the Connect screen to see if there are any users you’d like to follow. Note: You can tap a user to go to their profile and see their public content.

Step 4: Tap the “Follow” button to follow a user on the list.

You can also follow a user by tapping on their username to go to their profile, and tapping the “Follow” button.

In addition to browsing recommended users on the Connect tab, you can also sync your device’s address book to the Twitter app to find your contacts who are also on Twitter. To do this, tap “Find friends” at the top of the Connect tab, and tap “Sync contacts” on the window that appears.
