Helen Fire and Brimstone: Who Will Forgive Her?
News of Hearst White House reporter Helen Thomas’s views on Gaza surfaced in cyberspace Friday in video interview originally posted on rabbilive.com. In it, the 89-year-old Thomas said Jews should “get the hell out of Palestine.” She has since apologized. Over the weekend, reaction languished and the story did not pop up on any of the Sunday talk shows.
This morning, everyone’s talking.
“Maybe its good to give her a cake and retire her from the front row,” said MSNBC “Morning Joe” Host Joe Scarborough after the network aired the controversial Thomas video.
