Hearst Exec Joins The Atlantic

Hearst exec Kimberly Lau has joined The Atlantic in the newly created role of Veep and GM for Atlantic Digital.

Lau, who begins on June 15, will oversee audience engagement and expansion; strategic content and business partnerships; mobile and video product development; and new distribution and syndication platforms.

Her past: Before joining The Atlantic, Lau was Vice President of Business Development and Partnership Relations for Hearst Magazines Digital Media, the unit responsible for creating and executing the digital strategy for the company’s 20 magazine brands and 24 websites, including Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and Good Housekeeping.
