Hearst And The Daily Green Present The "Heart Of Green" Awards
Last night, The Daily Green — an award-winning website devoted to encouraging green living — hosted their second annual “Heart of Green” awards at the environmentally-friendly Hearst tower. Attendees included Gloria Reuben, who emceed the night’s events, and Lifetime Achievement winner Ted Danson, who was recognized for his work with Oceana. Other honorees included Audubon Society head John Flicker, model and green cosmetics entrepreneur Josie Maran, and the founders of Edible Communities.
Upon achieving his award, Danson told the crowd, “You can’t pass a problem by without taking a hit to the soul.
