The Daily Beast has named Harry Siegel senior opinion editor. Siegel most recently worked for The New York Daily News as a columnist.
This is a homecoming for Siegel, as he previously worked for the Daily Beast from 2011 to 2013. Siegel has also worked for The Village Voice, Politico, The New York Sun and The New York Press.
The Daily Beast’s editor, John Avlon, tweeted that Siegel was “a smart, curious player-coach kind of guy.”
