Today is the day we celebrate Alexander Graham Bell and his faithful assistant Mr. Watson. Wired reminded us that it was on March 10, 1876 that Bell placed that first, fateful telephone call to Watson, who was sitting in the next room in Bell’s Boston laboratory.
So, as you find your way to a meeting using a GPS app on your BlackBerry, watch a college hoops game on your V CAST Mobile TV phone and download music to your iPhone while sitting in Starbucks, give thanks that you don’t have to wait as long for third-party apps as Bell did.
