Guggenheim Museum Getting Into eBooks

The Guggenheim Museum is putting out eBooks. The museum also claims to be putting out  “the first exhibition catalogue to be published by a museum in an e-book format.”

The museum is selling eBooks including a title from the current exhibition called Maurizio Cattelan: All and a new edition of the 1970 children’s book I’d Like The Goo-gen-heim. The museum will also be selling eBook “singles” aka essays. The eBooks will be available through Amazon and iTunes.

In addition, the museum has digitized collection of historical essays from 1937, when the museum was founded.
