Groupon has acquired CommerceInterface, which provides tools that help companies create and track programs manage sales and follow-through with online and retail customers.

Groupon acquired CommerceInterface, which provides tools that help companies create and track programs manage sales and follow-through with online and retail customers, showing continued focus on its $1.5-billion Groupon Goods program.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Utah-based CommerceInterface currently services many big-name e-tailers, including Fab, Magento and Rakuten. Groupon has been using its services since April 2012 “to streamline operations of the growing Groupon Goods platform and automate interactions with thousands of existing vendors,” the company said.
