Gregory Leads Imus Coverage

MSNBC is leaning heavily on David Gregory in its coverage of the Imus cancellation. Gregory hosted two live Hardballs on Wednesday, and the 7pm version re-aired at 10pm and 1am. Then from 7 to 9am this morning, instead of Imus, Gregory (a former regular on Imus) hosted a two-hour special about the controversy from D.C.
Gregory said: “I can tell you, this has been quite a few days here at NBC News. We’re a big part of this story, and we take no pleasure in that.
