Gregory Hill And Jill Baguchinsky Win Amazon/Penguin Contest

Authors Gregory Hill and Jill Baguchinsky have won the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award contest. Hill won the general fiction category for his novel, East of Denver, and Baguchinsky won in the young adult fiction category for her novel, Spookygirl.

Both authors will get a publishing contract from Penguin Group (USA) that includes a $15,000 advance. Dutton’s adult and children’s divisions will publish the work.

Amazon, Penguin Group (USA) and CreateSpace (Amazon’s self-publishing business) sponsor the content which takes place annually.
