Greene Leaves Politico

Richard Greene, our tireless web editor, recently came to us with a surprise: He is leaving Politico to take a writing and editing job with CNN. His last day will be at the end of next week.

Richard has been one of the pivotal figures in the success of Politico in our first year. There is virtually no end to the list of essential roles he played in this job. He routinely worked at all hours—late night and early morning–to make our site smarter and faster.
