Facebook will award 25 scholarships to females who excel in computer science, enabling them to attend the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing conference in Baltimore Oct. 3 through 6.
The social network said in a note on the Facebook Engineering page that applicants must be either full-time students at universities who are majoring in computer science, computer engineering, or related technical majors; or full-time technical employees at engineering, computer engineering, or hardware engineering companies.
