Gospel Music Channel Teams Up with tangle.com

GospelMusicChannelLogo.jpgGospel Music Channel is on a mission from GodTube, or from the site that used to be GodTube, anyway, and now goes by tangle.com, a social-networking site for Christians.

The cable network will handle all ad sales, marketing and promotional efforts for tangle.com, AdAge.com reports, as well as combining its library of contemporary Christian music videos and concert specials with the social-networking site’s user-generated scripture readings and re-enactments, family-friendly humor and other faith-based content.

GMC vice president of digital media Philip Manwaring told AdAge.com:

A lot of marketing in this space is done through the church itself, and tangle.com brings millions of general Christian consumers into that mix. It allows us to target anywhere within that spectrum that’s becoming relevant to that audience.
