The Google+ app for Android got an update today that features a redesigned content stream and more ways for users to interact with Communities on the social network.

The Google+ app for Android got an update today that features a redesigned content stream and more ways for users to interact with Communities on the social network.

Google launched the Communities feature in December.

Users can now invite others to Communities and re-share posts from their own content stream to the Communities to which they belong. They can adjust the frequency of the posts the see in their content stream from individual users or Communities.

The update launches a new design for the content stream.
