Google News implemented a few tweaks to become more tablet-friendly for owners of iPads and Android devices.
Columns were optimized on the Google News homepage and throughout its section pages so that they can be viewed in portrait and landscape modes.
A menu was also added on the top of the screen for easier navigation, and finger-swiping is now supported throughout the multimedia strips in extended story boxes.
Finally, the edition picker was revamped to be more user-friendly.
