Google Introduces The Chromebook Pixel

Google has introduced a new touchscreen laptop called the Chromebook Pixel. The new runs on Chrome OS, a web-based browsing system, and includes Google apps such as search, Gmail, YouTube, Maps and Google+ Hangouts natively.

The selling point for the laptop is a very high resolution screen with 239 pixels per inch. Here is more from Google’s blog:

The body of the Pixel is made from an anodized aluminum alloy to create a smooth and durable surface; vents are hidden, screws are invisible and the stereo speakers are seamlessly tucked away beneath the backlit keyboard.
