Google Has Acquired Hand Gesture Interface Designer Flutter

Google has acquired Flutter, a company focused on developing hand gesture interfaces, in a deal whose terms were not disclosed.

Flutter CEO Navneet Dalal announced the news on the company’s homepage. He wrote: “Today, we are thrilled to announce that we will be continuing our research at Google. We share Google’s passion for 10x thinking, and we’re excited to add their rocket fuel to our journey.”

Flutter is known for its Mac app that uses hand gestures to detect movement via a built-in webcam.
