Google+ for Android 1.0.5 Enhancements Includes Some for Huddle (group messaging)

Google’s latest attempt to crack the social network market launched on June 28. And, Google+ has been a source of constant coverage and change since then. Its Android app was updated again this week and includes 11 enhancements and new features.

While someo of enhancements may seem like minor ones, they are important to the overall user experience. And, several of the enhancements are specific to the mobile Google+ experience. Huddle (group messaging), for example, is a feature only available when using Google+ on an Android or iPhone device. Four of the 11 enehancements deal specifically with this messaging feature. The “Nearby” accuracy refers to another mobile-only feature that lets you see what anyone near you is saying on Google+ even if you are not in your incoming stream or in one of your circles.
