GoodReads Saw a 163% Increase in eBooks Being Read
The online book community GoodReads too a few minutes this past week did some number crunching. The staff there had read about Amazon’s boast of high eBook sales, and they wanted to know if GoodReads grew as fast as Amazon.
The graph at left is their answer. The number of people that are reading ebooks in 2011 is up 163% over 2010 and it’s also up 36% over the last four months of 2010.
This graph also shows a certain similarity to the AAP eBook sales data.
