Good Day Wake Up Still Looking for Anchor
Fox5/WNYW is still seeking an anchor for their early morning newscast Good Day Wake Up.
David Navarro, who recently left the Fox affiliate in Chicago, was set to take over the Good Day Wake Up duties.
However, a deal to bring Navarro, a former WABC-TV reporter, on board at WNYW fell through.
For now, a WNYW spokeswoman says Heather Nauert remains co-anchor as the station ramps up their search for her on-air partner.
The station says there is no timetable for adding that new anchor.
