Glu partners with Skydance Productions for 'Terminator' mobile game

Mobile game developer and publisher Glu Games has announced its partnership with Skydance Productions to create a mobile game based on the upcoming theatrical release of Terminator Genisys. The film isn’t set for release until July 1, 2015, so details are still slim on this upcoming free-to-play experience.

The game will take players to the world of the Terminator franchise, introducing them to popular characters, and is being developed for “all major mobile platforms.” It will be released in summer 2015.

“Terminator is one of the most iconic action brands in entertainment and we are pleased to be the first to bring the franchise to mobile as a free-to-play game,” said Niccolo de Masi, CEO of Glu.
