Gawker Managing Editor: Media Coverage ‘Will Remain The Core of What We Do’

Lockhart Steele, Gawker Media managing editor, responded to reports, including one by Nikki Finke, that the site will be shifting away from media coverage in favor of pop culture.

Steele tells FishbowlNY:

The idea that Gawker.com is going to abandon media coverage is, for the record, incorrect. It will always remain at the core of what we do on the site.
