GAP's Donald Fisher Unveils Presidio Museum Plans

One of the biggest stories in museum-ery came out this week, as the plans for the Contemporary Art Museum of the Presidio in San Francisco were finally unveiled this week by Gap founder, Donald Fisher (who is paying for the whole deal). Assuming it all goes down and the city goes for it, it’ll be a gigantic piece of metal, designed by Richard Gluckman of Mayner Architects, who was also behind expansions of the Whitney and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
