Gannett's DC News Bureau to Report to Comm. Dept?
A source tells FishbowlDC that Gannett Co.,Inc. (NYSE: GCI) is not business-as-usual after the buyouts. The company insider claims that a corporate reorg. will place Gannett’s DC News Bureau under the direction of their corporate communications department.
FishbowlDC spoke to Gannett VP of Corporate Communications Tara Connell who said, “the confusion stems from our ‘Content One’ initiative.”
Connell; who is also spearheading the new initiative says that Gannett’s DC news group will report to her via ‘Content One’ but denies that the reorg.
