Gannett Launches ‘USA Today Network’ Brand

USA Today Network will have 92 local papers under its umbrella.

In an attempt to capitalize off of its most well-known brand, Gannett has united all of its local papers under the new USA Today Network name.

“Uniting all of our trusted brands into a powerful, singular network has and will continue to provide us with the unique opportunity to connect with our communities in profound ways, where local stories feed national news, and national news connects with local relevance,” said Gannett president and CEO, Bob Dickey, in an announcement.

USA Today Network will have 92 local papers under its umbrella, including USA Today, The Detroit Free Press, The Indianapolis Star and The Arizona Republic.
