Gameloft has announced the release of Order & Chaos 2: Redemption on mobile devices. The MMORPG takes players to the world of Haradon and challenges them to complete hundreds of quests while interacting with other players in cooperative or competitive gameplay.
In Order & Chaos 2: Redemption, players create a hero by choosing one of five races (Orc, Human, Elf, Mendel or Kratan), and five classes (Blood Knight, Warrior, Mage, Ranger or Monk). Gamers then choose one of two starting towns, which impacts their character’s origin story and beginning gameplay.
While playing, users can tap or tap and hold on the screen to move, and can activate skill and attack buttons across the bottom of the screen. Waypoint lines guide players between and during quests, while a map helps players keep track of their location in the world.
Players can work on multiple quests at the same time, and can fast travel between discovered portal locations by spending currency. In addition to story-based quests, players can complete single-player ‘Dream Dungeons’ to earn bonus rewards.
As players complete quests, they’ll be able to unlock new skills for their character, as well as upgrade their weapons. A crafting system allows players to create new items and equipment using the materials they collect while playing, but many crafting recipes are locked to specific experience point levels.
Outside of single-player gameplay, users can create a team to take on difficult dungeons, or fight others in player-vs-player duels. For additional social features, players can create or join guilds, chat with other players, trade with others via the auction house (or direct trades), and so on.
