Gaggle of Hires at Governing Mag
Governing magazine recently added to its ranks a small army of new staffers. Kathy Gambrell, Mike Maciag and Dylan Scott all joined the publication’s editorial team this week. Gambrell, formerly managing editor of CongressDaily and a White House correspondent for UPI, is now editor of Governing.com. New data editor Mike Maciag joined the company from the Erie Times-News in Pennsylvania and Dylan Scott, who just completed a nine-month internship at the the Las Vegas Sun, is the mag’s newest staff writer.
The magazine also beefed up its business group with the addition of marketing director Meg Varley-Keller, Jackie Gault as sales director, and media coordinators Nurah Abdul-Majeed and Elisabeth Frerichs.
