Fusion has named Dodai Stewart its editor in chief. Stewart has been with Fusion since 2014. She most recently served as executive editor.
Stewart previously worked for Jezebel as a deputy editor.
Stewart is succeeding Alexis Madrigal, who will now serve as an editor at large for Fusion.
“I can pinpoint almost precisely when I knew this day would come,” wrote Madrigal, in a memo to staffers. “It was about this time last year. I drummed up some reason to call Dodai to talk about Fusion.
