Furniture Shower: Help Buy the Gensler Building the Stuff It Needs

Our pals over at the firm Gensler dropped us a line about a local going-on, saying, “This is so UnBeige!” and they’re right. Not only is it interesting, but it’s in our own backyard here in Chicago. It’s the news about the Furniture Shower on April 10th at the soon-to-open Center on Halsted, an amazing meeting hall for the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender community that Gensler has designed. Instead of just having your typical fundraising event to complete the building and furnishing, the Center is opening up their doors and inviting people to buy things they need from a list Gensler has put together, just like your typical wedding or baby shower.
