From the Grand Ole Opry to the WHCD...
CBS’ Bob Schieffer and country music star Brad Paisley first met on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville last fall, performing at a concert sponsored by the Presidential Debate Commission.
The pair will put aside their guitars and mics to reconnect at the White House Correspodents Association Dinner next weekend, where Paisley will be Schieffer’s guest. His wife actress Kimberly Williams is also slated to attend.
No word yet whether Paisley will join Schieffer’s band Honky Tonk Confidential for a surprise performance…
