Fring, fring! Let’s Chat and Swap Some Files!

Fring, whose free mobile phone app lets users make Skype calls using their phone’s Internet connection, has come out with a new version packed full of new features. The new rev takes fring into the new territory of a mobile community, allowing its users to “talk, chat & interact with other fringsters” and online communities right from their mobile phones, 3G.co.uk reports.

Using the phone’s Internet connection, fringsters can access Skype, MSN Messenger, GoogleTalk, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo Messenger and AIM with a PC-like interface and functionality.

The new version also lets users share music, video and other files phone-to-phone or phone-to-PC, the article says, and is available in seven languages.
