Friendster Takes Social Network Mobile

Friendster, following in the footsteps of MySpace, Facebook and other social networks, has gone mobile.

Users can get to Friendster Mobile (m.friendster.com) from any Web-enabled mobile device and access their usual Friendster content including seeing what updates their friends have posted, post shoutouts, browse photos and profiles, search for users, review friend requests and all sorts of other stuff.

Over the next few weeks, Friendster Mobile will start rolling out international versions, the first being Indonesian. Friendster claims to be the number-one social network in Asia where it has more than 50 million registered users.
