Facebook appears to have added a tweak to its chat menu on the right-hand side of the homepage, in which it displays how long friends who are connected via mobile devices have been idle.
This marks the first significant tweak to the chat function we can recall since the social network added icons next to friends’ names with direct links to their timelines last June.
