FriendFeed Being Fed Real-Time Tweets Again
FriendFeed restored its ability to display tweets in nearly real-time, as the service, which was acquired by Facebook in August, was displaying tweets with delays of about eight seconds, TechCrunch reported.
Tweets had been delayed by up to one hour for months due to FriendFeed’s transition to a newer Twitter data stream, the Birddog stream API, according to TechCrunch.
