“What was that? Did somebody just scream mashed potatoes?” Page 2 tracked down the guy that screamed “mashed potatoes” after Tiger Woods’ tee shot on the 18th hole. His name is Andrew Widmar and he says, “I wish I could take credit.” However, apparently there have been a number of previous instances of golfers being “mash potatoed” at tournaments.
