Freedom Communications May Have Violated Loan Agreement
Freedom Communications Inc., which owns the Orange County Register, might be in violation of loan agreements, according to the Register.
The Reg also reported that Freedom’s Mesa, Ariz. paper, The East Valley Tribune planned to eliminate 142 jobs (40% of its staff) and cut back to four print editions a week. “The newspaper will also be distributed for free.”
