The Society of Illustrators has elected five artists to its illustrious Hall of Fame: Fred Otnes, Jerry Pinkney, Kenneth Paul Block, Alan E. Cober, and Robert Heindel (the latter three will be honored posthumously). Past presidents of the Society selected the artists based on their body of work and the impact it has made on the field of illustration.
