Fox News Moves Jennifer Griffin to the Clinton Campaign Beat

She'll go back to Pentagon coverage after the elections.

Fox News Channel puts Jennifer Griffin on Clinton campaign detail for the duration of the 2016 elections. The national security correspondent will resume covering the Pentagon, a beat she has been on since 2007, after seeing this cycle to its end.

She will cover Clinton along with Mike Emanuel, FNC’s chief congressional correspondent, who has been covering the presumptive Democratic nominee since last month.

The move comes in the wake of Ed Henry‘s extended break from his role as chief White House correspondent. In May the network announced Henry, who had been covering Clinton for FNC, was on [temporary for now] leave after an In Touch report came out detailing an almost yearlong affair between Henry and a women in Las Vegas.
