Fox News Hires Meghan McCain as Contributor

The former MSNBC and The Daily Beast contributor will now contribute to FNC's primetime and daytime programming.

Meghan McCain, daughter of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), will join Fox News as their newest contributor, reports Variety.

According Variety’s senior TV editor Brian Steinberg, McCain is expected to contribute to FNC’s prime-time and daytime programming. The blogger, commentator and TV show host has contributed to The Daily Beast and MSNBC in the past, as well as co-hosting TakePart Live, a talk show for the startup network, Pivot.

She’s also made a name for herself as a writer — having authored a campaign memoir, Dirty Sexy Politics, as well as a collaborative piece with comedian Michael Ian Black, entitled America, You Sexy Bitch: A Love Letter to Freedom.
