Fox News and MySpace Team Up For uReport Community

MySpace and Fox News Channel announced today an “exclusive partnership” for the launch of a MySpace uReport community.

The Website will build on Fox News’ already launched uReport system, where anyone around the world can contribute content as citizen journalists. The photos and videos created “could be featured in relevant programming on FOX News Channel and foxnews.com,” says the release.

MySpace and Fox News are both owned by News Corp.

In the release, FNC Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes said, “FOX News has created a great asset with the uReport service, and under the leadership of our Digital Vice President Jeff Misenti, the benefits of the MySpace partnership will be substantial.”
