Foursquare Releases 'New and Notable' Update for Android App
Foursquare will now show members what's new in their city on the Android version of the social network's mobile app. The "new and notable" feature, announced yesterday, shows Foursquare users places that have recently opened in their area. Visitors can still find recommended restaurants, bars, and other attractions.

The “new and notable” feature, announced yesterday, shows Foursquare users places that have recently opened in their area. Visitors can still find recommended restaurants, bars, and other attractions.
The app also makes suggestions for places to based on the time of day, like breakfast spots in the morning, as well as highlighting things that are on the user’s to-do list.
