Former Essence Washington Correspondent Cynthia Gordy Joins The Root
Cynthia Gordy, former Washington correspondent for Essence and Essence.com, has taken root at The Root, joining the African-American-targeted news site as Washington reporter.
She will report daily on politics for The Root’s Blogging the Beltway, and write longer features and analyses for the site, based out of its offices in Washington, D.C.
