Former Dow Jones CEO to Testify on Phone Hacking

Les Hinton resigned from News Corp. in July

Former Dow Jones CEO and Wall Street Journal publisher Les Hinton, who has been keeping a low profile since he resigned last July in connection with the News of the World hacking scandal, is being dragged back into the spotlight to testify before Parliament, the Associated Press reports.

In a scheduling announcement emailed to journalists, British lawmakers said that Hinton would be questioned about his knowledge of the hacking affair in a Parliamentary hearing. According to the email, which didn’t give any details as to the hearing’s agenda, Hinton will testify by video on Oct.
