Michael Schoenbrun, Director of Business Development for Politico, has been trying for eight weeks to get out of his contract and it has been “a big ugly fight,” sources tell FishbowlDC. Schoenbrun finally got out, or rather, was pushed out by Mark Walters, who recently fled the bloodbath of CQ Roll Call for Politico.
