Three of the top five positions on this week’s list of emerging Facebook games were filled by foreign language titles.
Yu Chun Technology’s Chinese-language RPG 越「拖」越爽快！(“The more ‘drag’ the more readily”) took the No. 1 spot with 15,837 monthly active users, a 176 percent gain.
The No. 2 position belonged to another Chinese-language RPG, 亂世天下 (“Troubled World”), which was up by 12,409 MAU for a 124 percent increase. Playdemand’s Jewel Story was up by 10,000 MAU, a 33 percent swell that allowed the title to take the No. 3 spot on the list. IGG’s Chinese-language MMORPG 泰坦戰爭-首款3D大型網遊,全新引擎,史詩大作,超震撼視覺感受,遊覽眾古文明! (“Titan war – the first 3D large-scale online game, new engine, epic masterpiece, super shock visual experience, and visit all the ancient civilizations!”) took the No. 4 spot, up by 10,000 MAU for a 17 percent gain. Finally, SGN’s Child’s Play WordSearch rounds out the top five games of the list with 10,000 MAU, up 33 percent.
Another IGG game appeared on the list this week: The recently-released 3D MMORPG Moonlight Online is starting to gain traction, up by 10,000 MAU for a 33 percent gain.
Three other games had traffic gains greater than 50 percent. Spanish-language pet sim ¿Qué piensas acerca de mí? (“What do you think about me?”) was up by 10,000 MAU for a 50 percent increase. Jane Austen’s Rogues & Romance, a collaboration between the BBC and 6waves, was also up by 10,000 MAU for a 50 percent gain. Finally, HitPoint’s Polar Bowler Strike! gained 5,009 MAU, a 50 percent increase.
