Forbes has promoted Tom Davis from vice president, sales and marketing, to CMO. Davis has been with Forbes since 2008. Prior to that he worked at the tech media company, International Data Group.
“Tom is a transformational leader who has shepherded key teams at Forbes to great success through industry and product disruption,” said Forbes Media’s chief revenue officer, Meredith Kopit Levien, in a statement. “Elevating him to do so at the enterprise level and across our various business units enables even more growth and opportunity for Forbes.”
Davis succeeds Jack Laschever, who has been promoted to president of Forbes Conferences.
